Want to join DSS?

If the following instructions are too much, then chances are you wouldn't do well in a guild environment.

If you want to join Death's Shadows and Shades, you need to:

1) Send a message in-game to Tedward (#1133).
2) Make a post in the New Members area, introducing yourself. There is a stickied topic in there you should read first, which explains some basic things you should remember to include. (Yes, do this even before you're accepted to the guild.)
3) Apply to the guild in-game. If you've applied, I can accept you faster. I don't want to need to track down mages to send them invites and then need to wait for them to be online to accept it.
4) There is currently a minimum rank requirement of 1000. You can still apply if you're low ranked, but chances are you won't be accepted until you raise your rank. If you're intentionally staying low ranked, mention it when you message me and explain why. We are willing to give you some general tips to raise your rank if you are having difficulties.

What will be expected of you once you've joined Death's Shadows and Shades:

When you join, you will be considered a new recruit. In order to remain in the guild, and move up in ranks, a few things are expected of you.
1) Post a status report in the Recruit Training section every few days. We will give you advice if we can; please follow it or explain why you aren't. If you aren't getting many replies, it's safe to assume you're doing everything correctly.
2) Spend time with us in IRC. The server is irc.galaxynet.org, the channel is #DSS. If we aren't there, stay around, and someone will show up sooner or later.
3) Stay active! If you're going to be going away, or going into meditation, let us know. There will be the occasional roll-call, and if you don't respond, you will be kicked from the guild and you might not be allowed to join again, depending on the circumstances.
